Another super exciting fun knitblog

  • August Knit Goals

I'm prone to being a scatterbrain, so I try to make a short list of things to accomplish each month (lest I have 27 different non matching socks).

I give up! This month I will succumb to startitis!

That was fast!

Posted by Amber on October 25, 2007

Finally found my camera cable (which wasn’t the fast part - it was wedged in between my couch and an end table).  Which means I can start showing things off.  Yay for being a show off!

On Monday, Rebecca sent me a note that  the latest limited edition Lorna’s Laces colors were available at jimmybeanswool.com - November’s color is Autumn Leaves.  I ordered it and it shipped on Monday - and it was waiting for me when I got home tonight!

I would kind of like to know where autumn leaves are purple, but I’ll let it go.

I also ordered another ball of amethyst stripe, so I can make full size socks, not just footies:

Plus, they sent me my favorite candies!  It’s like they read my mind!  I love the pineapple ones!

And not from JimmyBean’s, but Jess [blogless] gave me sock yarn:

In the event that I misplace my camera again, I’ll save the pictures of my finally finished Ribby Cardi and Wicked for tomorrow or something.  I know you’re all eagerly waiting :-)

Yes! We are waiting for FO pics!! Btw - there are definatley deep purple leaves in the fall. We had them all the time in New Mexico and I have seen them in Virginia. Read this: http://nationalarboretum.usda.gov/PhotoGallery/FallFoliage/ScienceFallColor.html
